Ok, Riza and I have gone through and deleted almost all of the threads, don't like that we did it? than why didn't you vote? Any way, all threads have been deleted, you can start new ones but the plot is going to be changed soon. I will be helping to move the plot by quicker than before so we don't loose as much interest as he have.
Sam waived her hand at Riza's question. "A small one not far from it though I haven't been there in a while to even remember the name." she stated as she stopped thinking about what she was saying. part of her was comforted bye this woman and her drowsiness wasn't going to let her quick wit and logical stop her answers or change them before she would speak. she had mainly mastered the white lies, ability to lie with some truth so even those where fairly good, like the military, wouldn't see past it but there were some who could. sometimes she would tell a full lie but she'd made sure that she had actually believed it herself as the truth so even to the best it was though she hadn't completely mastered that skill yet. "Actually I never really learned it's name...parents were too concerned with teaching me alchemy." she said still unaware of what she was really saying... she hated her drowsy side sometimes.
Either that was the most blatant and unsubtle lie of a distraction ever or the girl seriously believed what she said. "Too busy teaching you alchemy to let you learn the name of a place you saw every day? she asked in a tone of quiet skepticism. "Seems a bit hard to believe, especially since you would have learned it at school among your peers if nothing else. What sort of alchemy do you use?"
If her former experience with alchemists was any indication, and given the girl's tendency to ramble, she may launch into a very in-depth discussion of her abilities, training- even the specifics of it, and while Riza may only understand one word in ten it would still keep them talking long enough to reach the Headquarters and return the watch that was the reason for this little wandering trip back.
Roy: If anything happens to me, make sure to escape. Riza: No. Roy: It's an order. Riza: I refuse. Roy: How stuborn. You must obey your orders no matter what. Riza: I am proud of my pigheadedness.
Sam yawned. "Saw everyday? yeah right I had never see the sun directly when I was with my parents. Never went to school....I was pretty much taught alchemy to use it for my parents whims. that and the fact that if something went wrong I'd pay for it instead of them." she said. she really didn't know why she was saying all this... then again she was sleepy and half aware of what she was even saying. when asked about her alchemy she blinked and actually tried to stave off her drowsy stated but failed and answered the question. "I can heat things up. Before I became an orphan my parents had me learn anything and everything so I could find a way to make them young eternally. When they brought live animals into the transmutation circles I refused. they gave me no choice really. they even spoke about using people if the animals proved successful." She answered not rambling as most alchemists would.
Sam let out a little sigh. "My tenth birthday they scarred me so i wouldn't have to worry about drawing my circle when I use my alchemy. same month they were killed and the house burnt to the ground along with they're notes." she informed riza. "That was nine years ago." she said yawning in the process.
Well, that certainly was a lot to know in a short period of time- she was a sheltered child, scarred at a young age and whose parents disappeared under mysterious circumstances. The girl was also evidently nineteen years old while looking a great deal younger, or a liar of a sort Riza had never seen. She was reserving judgment until a later time when more information was provided, but one thing was certain- she'd rather keep an eye on this Samantha rather than having her wandering free to potentially get into more trouble. "And after your parents died you began wandering?" she asked quietly as HQ loomed in the distance.
Roy: If anything happens to me, make sure to escape. Riza: No. Roy: It's an order. Riza: I refuse. Roy: How stuborn. You must obey your orders no matter what. Riza: I am proud of my pigheadedness.
Sam nodded. "Yeah I've been practically everywhere though I don't know any names of the places I've been to." she said. It was true even in this town Sam hadn't bothered to learn it's name or even put any attempt to remember it since as far as she had been concerned it would just be another town she would have used to survive before going onto another one. she looked at Riza. "In truth I was happy when my parents died. I wouldn't hurt innocent animals any more and I would never have to hurt anybody either." she said with a small smile.
She was glad when her parents died? The girl was beginning to seem more disturbed by the moment and Riza was starting to wonder what she'd gotten herself into. Perhaps at HQ they'd be willing to sort her out with some sort of efficiency and Riza could go about her business. She didn't want to see the girl come to any harm, but it was also becoming evident that she was mentally disturbed somehow. No, she wasn't dangerous at the moment, and may only be the delusions of hunger, but she was no doctor, able to tell with a few words what ailed a person. "You've been to a good number of places and never ONCE heard a passerby or read a sign that said what location you were at?" she asked in a doubting tone. "For nine years of being on your own? It's ridiculous to expect someone to see that as the truth."
Roy: If anything happens to me, make sure to escape. Riza: No. Roy: It's an order. Riza: I refuse. Roy: How stuborn. You must obey your orders no matter what. Riza: I am proud of my pigheadedness.
Sam sighed. "I never bothered to stay long enough to learn the name.. take this city for example...I have no clue what it's called and I've been here for two days." she said to the first comment. "Well Thanks to my parents forcing me to try and find eternal youth through alchemy somehow i stopped growing after I turned twelve. stupid alchemy." she said. She was growing a little more tired since she hadn't napped right away so she leaned towards riza. "Had you been more of a threat to me then I would have tried to burn you to get away." she stated in mumble. Now she wasn't thinking at all about her answers and more about where she was going to sleep after everything.
"Burning the world down is the last option for those with a living hell."

Well, none of what she said was comforting whatsoever- but it also meant that at the moment she couldn't let the military look too closely at the girl. Either she was telling the truth, making her both dangerous and unusual, or she was a completely insane child. Neither would result in her further freedom. Plans began to form within Riza's head, not in a rush of ideas but in a slow and thoughtful fashion where she looked every scrap of a thought over to make sure it made sense before moving on to the next one. Perhaps that way of thinking was what other people called 'rationality'. "Then where are you staying, if anywhere?" she asking in a steady tone as the neared HQ, only ten feet or so away from the gates.
